We are excited you're here! We are a group of friends who saw a need in our backyard and decided to fill it. In downtown Canton, there is a large population of people who need a little help. Our team creates a menu each week, cooks the food, and meets in the middle of a parking lot that we have turned into a little slice of paradise. Every Sunday we gather around 2pm to set up our tables, meals, clothing, and whatever other goodies we may have, and serve those who come to us from 3-5 (or whenever our food runs out!) We set up our tables and serve them a hot meal, a hot/cold beverage, and allow them to browse through our clothing that has been donated to us. Also, at the end of each month we put together a bag of extra goodies to help our friends get through the end of the month until whatever assistance they may get replenishes at the beginning of each month. We also do a bigger Christmas giveaway to help spread the joy of the season.
We would love to help you get involved in giving back to our community.
We provide a hot meal each Sunday from 3-5 to anyone who finds us and needs it. We allow them to get a second meal at 4:45 if there is anything leftover after making sure everyone gets their first meal.
We bring a variety of donated clothing and set it up to the best of our ability for our guests to "shop" and find what they need. We have many guests who will find something that fits them, and will head across the street to McDonalds to change their clothes and throw their old ones away-many of them only have the clothes on their back, and this is a way to get fresh, clean clothing each week.
At the end of each month, we put together some goodies for our friends to help get them through the last week or so of the month. Some of our friends receive some government assistance, but it is usually depleted by this time, so we try to give them a few more goodies to take with them and help them get through those last few days before it replenishes. Much of the things on our wish list go to these monthly bags. We ask for donations of canned meals with pull tabs because many of our people do not have access to a can opener, so we try to make sure that everything we give them can be accessible exactly as we give it to them, just in case they have no other resources.

Every Year - our mission gives Christmas Bags to our Guests. Our Christmas Lists are posted in early fall, and we are always overwhelmed with how generous our donors are in making Christmas really special for our guests. Please stay tuned as our Christmas bag wish lists will be posted below very soon!
Check out our current wish list (updated each Fall!) and sign up for something to help us out! It's fun to be a Secret Santa and know you are making a huge difference in someone's life! We are typically asking for lots of 50, so feel free to get with a friend, gather your family, your Sunday School group, or your colleagues to commit to something together! We appreciate your help!
Please check out our wish list. You do NOT need to purchase it on Amazon, but sometimes it's easier to click a link and send it directly to us. By using our Amazon link, it should give you the option to ship it directly to Megan (you need to go all the way through the process of purchasing, just before the end before it will pop up as an option). Even if you purchase something on Amazon, please be sure to sign up on the first link (signupgenius) so that others know what is still needed. THANK YOU!

We covet your prayers, for the organization, our team, and most importantly, for the people we see each week. We would love for you to lift them up in prayer and ask God to protect them and soften their hearts to hear His word and know that He loves each and every one of them.
We now receive food weekly from the Akron Canton Food Bank. We shop according to the menus that we have prepared for the month. However, we would welcome help in preparing our meals from your small group, club, fraternal organization or church. Please contact us with any interest you may have in preparing a main course or side dish for any of our Sunday dinners!
We have workdays at our Building the third Saturday of Every month to help us organize our donations and sort our food stock and rotate seasonal clothing. We welcome any and all who would like to come and help us on those days.
We also fill our Monthly bags at that time. There are always a variety of ways to help on the workdays.
We are accepting clean, gently used clothing, blankets, shoes, belts, and many other things. Many of our people will come and "shop" our selection each week, and this is their only source of clean clothing. We accept all sizes, as we have needs for all sizes, babies through adults.
Although we do get donations that go in our pantry, we always have to supplement ingredients and buy fresh meat, etc to be able to provide these things each week. We would gladly accept donations of any denomination. We have also been extremely blessed by gift cards to local butcher places which have been wonderful to help us stretch our dollars and provide more meals!
Our mission is always in need of canned food and non-perishables that can help us build on our menus every week. If you find that you are in a position to bless us with food - please contact us by email or phone as soon as possible and we will pick up or figure out a drop off time for such a blessing.
